One Fine Man says I am a gulper not a sipper when it comes to beverages. Sometimes when all of the Tervis Tumblers are in the dishwasher I have to drink my iced tea from a grown up glass. My tervis w/lid and straw is my sippy cup. Oh...I am so serious!
I have several aprons to choose from when I cook and clean the kitchen. Most of them are the chef style apron with full coverage. Again, it's the gulper vs sipper thing.
When Angela posted here wearing her cute Christmas apron while baking with her boys, I decided to share a picture of me wearing my Christmas apron.
I, however, am not baking cookies. No. I am boiling shrimp and frying catfish & hushpuppies for our Sunday dinner. Because what says Southern Christmas better than fried catfish? But I am not just going to show you a picture of my Christmas apron. I am also tying in a give-a-way with Lysa Terkeurst' Cool Christmas Give-a-way Day!
I have an identical apron to the one I am wearing in this post. It is brand spanking new...never been worn before. I found them at a good deal so I picked up two. Good for me and good for you!
If you would like to be entered in the Cool Christmas Give-a-way to win this Christmas apron, just leave a comment. If you want to be entered twice, include in your comment that you are linking to this Cool Christmas Give-a-way post. If you want to be entered three times, post your own picture wearing your Christmas apron. Be sure to let me know!
I'll pick a winner later this week and contact you for your mailing address.
Merry Christmas and Happy Baking or, if you're like me, Happy Frying!
Melanie,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE aprons! See my Thanksgiving Eve post :)!!
Bless you,
pat
hey Melanie you pull that apron look off fantastically...:)
ReplyDeleteI used to work for pampered chef so i would wear an apron everytime I would demo but I am not as inclined to wear one at home...maybe if i had a cute one like that I would be tempted...:)
Lookin' Good! I love it! And I love to fry...which definitely ruins clothing! I am a messy frier!(Not sure if that's a word...lol! Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the apron! As a fellow gulper no sipper I totally relate. I have to drink out of a reusable plastic bottle or I spill water all over myself. It's embarrasing!
ReplyDeleteYour apron is absolutely adorable! Maybe if I wore the right "outfit", I'd be dressed for success in the kitchen! Even if my baking didn't turn out, at least I'd look the part :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the GiveAway!
Blessings,
Joy
What a cute apron...you know what I always wondered why don't they make aprons in petite? I mean short gals like me need full aprons too!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it, and you are right nothing says Southern Christmas like boiled shrimp (which I could eat my weight in) and catfish!!!
I love the apron and, from what I can see, I love your kitchen! I'm a friend of Crumbs in My Butter here in Georgia, thus I found your give-a-way...and thankfully, your blog!
ReplyDeleteFun, fun! You look adorable. Don't enter me, as I just bought a brand new apron last week (and a matching one for my 4 yr old for Christmas). So we are set. But just wanted to say you look cute.
ReplyDeleteMelanie! This is so fun! Count me IN! Oh, and be sure I will link to your site on my next post.
ReplyDeleteps - I love your 'sippy' cup! :)
Oh how fun, I would LOVE to be entered in the contest.
ReplyDeleteI always have an apron on...my 6 kids all joke that it is part of my "uniform". You are looking good in your apron!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Christine
Ooohhh!Oooohhh! Count me in! I actually don't own any aprons, so I'll only be able to do 2 entries! Fingers crossed!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm confused on the "choose a profile" here...so, my name is Toni and my blog is www.lotsofgoodtimes.blogspot.com (Is it 5 O'Clock yet?)! I'm good friends w/Angela, too :)
I love aprons...but the funny thing is, I don't have any of my own. I wear my husbands & have even been known to wear one of the kids "play" aprons! I think I need my own!
ReplyDeleteWowie! I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win that apron. I've just started wearing them (well, one). My 8yo daughter decided she had to have one, too, so I bought her one. Now she loves to learn how to cook with me. Thanks for the great giveaway. Check out the giveaway on my blog!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

I would love to have an apron to wear in my kitchen. I have a few but none as pretty as the one you have on! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMarie
Love your blog and your apron! Now I am going to be thinking about Fried Catfish for Christmas! :)
ReplyDeletePlease enter me for the apron drawing.
ReplyDeleteI am alone in my love for catfish in this house but was able to have some at a restaurant on Sunday...so worth it!!!
Oh, I had to respond to your comment. Yes, I have a terrible problem with getting my kids buckled into the car. I have to leave ten minutes early just to tackle that. Today, I had to buckle Regan in 8 times. Oh my. There is no such thing as terrible 2's, only terrible 3's. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI love aprons! The one you're wearing is great. I design them in my mind often, but don't have the skills to make them yet. One day... :-)
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful in your apron. I didn't realize that so many people still use aprons until I started reading various blogs. I love aprons as well. There are so many different varieties and designs, and they're fun to wear. I clicked onto your post from a suggestion by Angela (Crumbs in my Butter), and I'm glad I did. Nice blog site!!!
ReplyDeleteReally cute apron! I would post a pic of me in my apron but it is so, so, so sad. Old, green and stained. A new CHRISTmas apron would be great! Just in time for all the cooking and baking I've got scheduled next week leading up to the Open House....
ReplyDeleteCute apron ~ I really need to start wearing them as I am always getting something on my clothes when I'm in the kitchen. I'm glad I checked out Lysa's Cool Christmas Give-Away. Please enter me in your contest. Merry Christmas and God Bless!
ReplyDeleteI love my Tervis tumblers too. With lids and straws.
