So You Wanna Be A Cuter You?

Starting Sunday, May 1, I'll be bringing you a new blog series called
"31 Days Closer to a Cuter You!"

Topics will include:

  • how not to look old
  • finding your best hem lengths
  • shoes that flatter
  • hair issues
  • how to dress YOUR body
  • kitchen cuisine for beauty treatments
  • my favorite "beauty" products
  • and more!

 But wait! That's not all.

Sandy, The Amazing Adventures of Friday Fitness Girl, is the brain behind the "31 Days Closer..." child!

Check out her post here to find out more about the "31 Days Closer..." series and the other cool chick bloggers who are participating.

In the meantime, is there a particular issue you deal with along the lines of looking your best?
What is your biggest challenge in looking like the "you" you would like to see reflected in the mirror?

~ And hey, I know this is all superficial stuff, but sometimes it's fun to have a little girl talk about clothes, shoes, and make-up.
I know I could use a little "superficial fluff & stuff" now and again. What about you?

  1. I'm so looking forward to this series and was SO excited that you are posting on it as well!

Girl, need help with my hair. It's coarse, naturally curly (read:frizzy) and I don't know what to do with it so I pull it back all the time. It's great for cooking/baking/running/chasing around after the kids, but would love to have a simple solution for other events. I try to be thankful everyday for hair as some of relatives have issues with thinning.

But any tips would be appreciated! :)

  6. I'm a big "hair person" and love to have good hair. I am always fluctuating between going lighter or darker. Sometimes I just think I'm going to dye the whole thing dark brown and become a brunette. But then I get a glimpse of myself in an old picture with really light hair and I love it. So, I guess my question is, how do you know which color is best on you? Do I just need to try it out? Or is there some sort of rule to follow? I've been a natural blonde my whole life, but I help it stay bright with highlights.

Looking so forward to your series. Thanks for doing this with me, friend!!!

  10. PS - you asked about our "issues" and mine is this: I am 5'9 and have a long torso...and I tend to gravitate towards t-shirts all the time because they fit and they are cheap (hello Target seasonal tees!!). I want to dress it up a bit and look cute like all my girlfriends manage to do, but since I am curvy, I don't know what to pick that will flatter and not look...stupid! ha ha So if you can help me out (cuz I am sure I am not alone in this), I would love that sooo much!!
