Son: "Mama, will you make something?"
Mama: "What do you mean, like a dessert?"
Son: "Yeah."
Mama: "Are you sure you wouldn't rather have fish? It's really good for you."
Son: "No, Mama. I don't like fish."
Mama: "It's a little chilly in here. Do you want a jacket?"

ReplyDeleteSo funny!
ReplyDeleteWhen my nephew was two years old I once followed him around my apartment for about 20 minutes with a bowl of my homemade cinnamon sugar oatmeal, trying to convince him it was better than the package stuff he liked. I finally conceded defeat when I realized I had cornered him in the bathroom between the clawfoot tub and the toilet and he STILL wouldn't eat it.
Leslie, That's funny! Somehow I can picture that. I guess because I have been guilty of the same kind of thing so many times. I gave up on trying to get my husband to eat tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteBut just a few days ago, he admitted he had recently started eating tomatoes!!!
This is hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Yummy recipe and hilarious video. Thanks for the treats today. :)
ReplyDeletePeanut Butter Cookies....I make a batch every November 30th. We lost our younger son in 2003. Peanut Butter cookies were his favorite and he asked for them on his birthday, in place of cake. Thanks for the memories!
