Rooster Tray Before

Rooster Tray After

I'm having lots of fun with my new Blackboard Tray! This is our "menu" for Sunday dinner. The cook was kissed!!!

I purchased both of these at Michael's. 'Can't wait to experiment with the chalk ink. And I have more projects in mind for the chalkboard paint.

  1. Love the makeover. That's perfect for you! It has style and goes with your gifts in the kitchen. I have never heard of chalkboard ink. Please review. Dinner sounded yummy and I bet you got many kisses from your crew, especially one fine man! Blessings, B

  3. That is too cute! I love it! I'm also a huge fan of the blackboard in general. I have several here and there around my house. I may need to blog about that sometime. And you will love the Chalk Ink...some kind of great invention for sure.

  5. That is the CUTEST little chalkboard ever! So creative! I've always loved the chalkboard style menus in Starbucks and little cafe's. I think I just might copy your idea. Maybe it would draw a little excitement from my boys about dinnertime too!

That dinner sounded fabulous too! Super healthy.

Do you grill your salmon on foil or straight on the grill? Mine always falls apart.

  6. I love the rooster tray re-do. Everybody's using chalkboard paint these days. I'm looking around my house to see what I can turn into a cute chalkboard. :-)

I'll plan to join in on the husband project too. Will pop over and sign up. Blessings to you today... Jennifer
