My Mission:
- Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred
- a one mile run
Mission Accomplished:
We had a rain storm for most of the day so I decided it would be a good day to "shred." I haven't shredded in a while and WOW, I forgot what a great work-out it is!
Since the "shred" is only a 20 minute work-out and my daily goal is a minimum of 30 minutes, I also ran a mile.
By then the rain had stopped so I did not have to run with the "cats and dogs."
Speaking of dogs, last night when the storm started, our little dog, Ted, woke me up with his whining. When there is thunder Ted turns into a scaredy-cat!
How did your Day One Mission go?
I did 32 minutes with Leslie Sansone; this was quite an accomplishment on day 5, post-chemo. I tingled all throughout... problems with neuropathy (sp?), but I'm going to keep going, sister! And then, when energy returns, I look forward to doing more. I'm so glad you're doing this, and I definitely think you need to work this up into a book proposal at some point... maybe 40 days worth of stuff.
ReplyDeleteShred away.

Actually, I went to the gym, worked out and walked on the treadmill at an incline for 45 minutes. I guess I will join. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess I need to download the file.
yep... walked and did aerobics for 30 minutes and then a light workout with weights. I also drank water all day, about 2 or 3 times as much as usual, and cut the calories back and went for more protein. I know food wasn't menioned particularly, but it helps me to do the whole ball of wax at once!
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad you're doing this and I think the book is coming! :)
I thought a lot about what I should do. I meditated on Psalm 1, which I am currently trying to memorize. My back is hurt, as of Friday night- I don't even know what I did to it and I'm not sure what I can do for 30 minutes that will not harm it more. Suggestions?
