I thought I would use my "polyvore powers" and create a casual and a special occasion summer outfit for each body type.
Ignore the prices. I did!
I've started with the H/b/rectangle and what some label the "column" body type. Go HERE for the recap on this specific body type. Your "H" body type challenge is to define your waist. So I chose this pink top because it helps to cinch in the waistline and create a balanced proportion. Also, if you are looking to add a little oomph to your bust line, the ruffles help do that and ruffles are "in" this summer.
The wash on the upper thighs of the jeans visually add some depth and fill out a slim leg. Lighter washes and fades along the legs and knees add shape to thighs. (Hard for me to believe that some women want help in that area!)
I know this might not work for everyone in the "H" category but pay attention to the cut of the jeans (a straight fit from the hips to the knees w/a slight flare at the end) and the top that helps define the waist. Those are the 2 elements that an "H" usually needs to look for.
If you do not want to add extra fullness in the bust area or do not want to go sleeveless, another option with the same look would be a belted peasant top with sleeves or a tunic top that is cut closer to the body with a more defined waist rather than a straight cut from shoulder to hip.

This dress has a bit of a "bubble" skirt with a little fullness which is good for the "H" body type. This figure type usually has pretty arms so this sleeve will show them off. And, again, there is a defined waist in the dress.
